Practice Drills: Preparing an ESG Disclosure Summary for Board Review
A hands-on drill course for CFOs, financial controllers, senior finance leaders, pre-IPO founders and corporate development teams who own the ESG number that goes to the board. You will work through one illustrative Indian listed manufacturer's sustainability data from raw plant-level inputs to a finished board summary: scoping under SEBI's BRSR and BRSR Core, building a materiality matrix, normalising energy, water, waste and GHG numbers, reconciling ESG figures to the audited financial statements, reading workforce and governance metrics, and handling value chain data gaps. The course ends with you assembling a full board ESG pack and rehearsing the questions independent directors and the audit committee will ask before they sign off.
